Cardiff City ‘eye’ £300,000 deal for Premier League midfielder
Cardiff City are said to be interested in signing a Premier League midfielder this summer. The Bluebirds have not been overly bold in the transfer market over recent times, not helped by a transfer embargo, of course.
Erol Bulut was handed some paid-for new signings in January, and the Bluebirds now look set to land a top-half finish with just two games to go. But whether Bulut stays or not beyond this season, more new signings will be required this summer, at least if the club have plans to push on.

Leonard only missed one league game for Northampton last season and he is one game away from playing every single league game for them this season.
The former Scotland under-21s international is set to return to Brighton this summer, and the report claims Cardiff, Preston and Plymouth are all interested in snapping him up. It’s also claimed Brighton are willing to sell for a fee of just £300,000, which would suit the Bluebirds, and indeed those other clubs.
